In the Forest Dark and Deep

by Carrie Ryan

What is it about disasters that grab and keep our attention?

Morbidity. I’ve always found that to be one of the most strange of feelings. What can possibly be it propose? And I do believe that we all feel it (even if some stronger than others).

A prt of this story is about that precisely. The strange and sometimes disturbing interest of some for the scene of a crime and all its horrid details… But, most of the story is about this girl and the stem age and disturbing things that have happened in her life.

Its great. Who doesn’t like a little insight into the minds of those disturbed minds capable of horrible and bloody thing? I do.

And… Who hasn’t thought Alice in Wonderland has dark undertones implied at some places? At least me and Carrie Ryan.
